		<description>I agree with you that I would prefer a do-follow blog.  I really don&#039;t pay attention when I write a comment in a blog though.  If it interested me, I will leave them a glowing comment.  I want to let them know that I was there and enjoyed the effort that they put forth.  I wish more people would do this.</description>

I&#039;ve always been confused about the dofollow - nofollow issue. I was under the impression that it was a waste of time to ever post at a nofollow blog.

You made it clear that it all boils down to your purpose in placing blog comments.

1. If I&#039;m placing a blog comment to get traffic to my affiliate link, then any high traffic blog will work, even if my link has the nofollow attribute applied to it. In this case I&#039;m looking for traffic not link juice.

2. If I&#039;m placing a blog comment hoping to get backlink link juice to an article page on my site then the dofollow attribute must be in place.

SIMPLE.
